Welcome to CreDebito, a mobile application developed by Atomlit Labs. Your privacy is critically important to us.

1. Information We Collect

To provide you with the best experience, we collect the following types of information:

• Account Information: When you sign in via Google Authentication, we collect your name, email address, and profile image URL to create and identify your account.
• Financial Data: We store the data you explicitly enter, including income, expenses, transfers, bank account details, credit card balances, and loan information.
• Usage Analytics: We use Google Play Console or Firebase Analytics to collect anonymized data regarding app performance, crashes, and user engagement to improve our service.

2. How We Store and Secure Your Data

By default, all your financial data is stored locally on your device. We prioritize your privacy and give you full control over your data.

• Local Storage (Default): Your data remains entirely on your device unless you explicitly choose to enable cloud syncing.
• Optional Cloud Syncing: You can opt in to sync your data securely to our cloud-based database (Supabase). This enables you to access your financial records across multiple devices.
• Group Sharing: If you wish to use collaborative features, such as sharing transactions with family or group members, cloud syncing is required. Otherwise, all your data remains securely stored offline.
• Encryption: If you choose to enable cloud syncing, all data transferred between the mobile app and our servers is encrypted using industry-standard protocols.

3. Sharing Your Data

We strongly believe that your financial information is yours alone. Our data sharing practices are strictly limited to the following scenarios:

• User-Initiated Sharing: As mentioned, data is only shared with other users when you explicitly invite them to a group and grant them permission.
• No Third-Party Selling: We never sell, trade, or rent your personal or financial data to third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.
• Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities (e.g., a court or a government agency).

4. Children's Privacy

Our services are not directed to individuals under the age of 13 (or under 16 in certain jurisdictions, such as the EU). We do not knowingly collect personal identifiable information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal data, please contact us. If we become aware that we have collected personal data from children without verification of parental consent, we take steps to remove that information from our servers immediately.

5. Advertising and Subscriptions

As of the current version, CreDebito does not display advertisements. We plan to introduce a subscription model for premium features in the future. Payment processing for subscriptions will be handled by secure third-party providers (like Google Play Billing), and we will not store your payment details on our servers.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your information for as long as your account is active. You have the right to request the deletion of your account and all associated financial data at any time through the app settings or by contacting us directly. Upon deletion, your data will be permanently removed from our active databases.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date.
